In January 2012 I reconnected with an old web-friend, Crysti Sheldon. We talked about romance companies and the industry in general. With the closing of Brown Bag Party, Crysti’s team and so many consultants were left stranded without a company. We both recognized that there just wasn’t a “good” company out there. Until now. The industry needs something new and exciting – something different. She told me about her upcoming company, Cloud 9 Parties, and instantly, I was in 100%. Waiting was the hard part. And now we can promote it for all the world to see!

Cloud 9 Parties offers a beautiful image and concept – a 1950′s style, enhanced with classic pinup imagery – and it’s current. You won’t find much PINK, as pink is overplayed in romance. What you’ll see is crisp, clean and attractive. Our printed material is simply GORGEOUS. Our websites will be stunning. Our product line – different. Aside from carrying beautiful lines like Cake, Max4Men, Sliquid and Pink, we will carry a variety of sexy accessories such as nail foils, shoes, wigs, jewelry and lashes. I am a big fan of the lashes and can’t wait to show them! Where other companies are still jumping on the “spa parties” bandwagon and even dipping into skincare, Cloud 9 Parties consultants will be able to hold “Sexy Accessory Parties” or “Sexy Boutique Parties”. A great alternative to our traditional toy parties, this is new and hip. I know my hostesses and customers will love it. Again, can’t wait to wear my new lashes!

I’m taking names! Though still in pre-launch phase (today, May 1st) we are already accepting applications to get in now. Woohoo! Another California Exotic Novelties Sexpert review! It’s the First Time™ Softee® Pleaser. I gotta say this toy is intriguing to me. When I first received it, I thought that it would just be another G-spot jelly-type toy. But I was impressed three times. First, by the initial feel of the material -*squish squish*. Secondly and Thirdly, by the motor’s strength and sound. This thing BUZZES. And to my surprise – quietly. Well, as quietly as quiet gets considering the high-pitch buZZZZing power this Softee Pleaser punches. Under covers, the motor won’t be heard, for sure. Going along with the “First Time” theme of the toy, is a really nice soft and light mild speed. With the twist bottom, turn it just enough till it turns on and you can feel light and flutterly vibrations, perfect for a first time to begin with. Twist it all the way and POW! The insertable length is 5.25 inches, which is slightly below the average erect penis size of 5.5-6.2 inches.

The tip curves up, which to me simply says: G-SPOT. With any toy of this shape, I recommend using it with a partner when receiving oral sex. The combination of G-spot and clitoral stimulation is sure to satisfy her. With fun groves and ridges along the shaft, she’ll get extra stimulation with the vaginal opening as well.

I can’t really think of any downside or cons to this toy. Though it’s clearly labeled as First Time™, it can still be versatile. For example, take the Softee sleeve off and put it on a finger. Or put it on a bullet. Use the toy without a sleeve vaginally or anally. I can totally see this as a fun toy, without the sleeve, for “First Time” anal play. Totally. I want to take this moment to thank California Exotic Novelties for sending me toys that I know our customers and party guests are interested in. I can see myself showing this one at my next Fordham or Seton Hall party! This toy is perfect first toy for a young women 18-23. Or any age if they want to begin using bedroom toys.

So today I received my much anticipated September toy. Feeling the bubble envelope from the outside I just knew it was a dual action, rabbit-type vibrator. YES. This is one of the last categories I need to complete in the line and a big THANK YOU to CalExotics for sending me the 10-Function EZ-Bend Bounding Bunny.

The first thing I do when I get a product is check out the packaging. It’s a pretty pinkish-purplish color with a blonde model in a white bra. Typical. I kinda wish it had simple design like butterflies or abstract art, but I also know that the customer throws the packaging away soon after their purchase. So, not that big of a deal. The second thing I do is smell the toy. It certainly passed the chemical-free test as far as scent. But I knew it would, because there is the “Safe & Pure” icon on the package. I love that this little icon is here as it brings awareness to the consumers that there are toxic phthalates in many insertable sex toys. But not this one. The two other icons I noticed were the “Waterproof” and “i10” (for the 10 functions). Functions are the speed and pattern of the vibration. A function can be low, medium, high, pulsing, escalating or a combination of any of these. I just wish there was some direction as to what the 10 functions are. With just 2 buttons – one being off/on and the other for the functions – it’d be nice to know where to find what. I do notice that where you turn the toy off and on, it turns on to the last function you left.  Maybe I’m just being picky, but I like easy to follow format in vibrations. Low, Medium, High, pulsing, pulsing high speed, escalation low, escalation high, etc.

So, the look of the toy is nice. Purple is always a winner with toys. It’s the most preferred color when it comes to toy consumers. I like the bounding bunny clitoral stimulator. It’s as if the rabbit is leaping out with both ears and paws charging to please. The two buttons – on/off and the functions – are on the bottom of the handle/battery compartment. It takes 3 AAA batteries, by the way. This toy doesn’t have the popular rotating beads or pearls. But I’ve come to realize that this is better!
Because the Bounding Bunny has a curved tip for G-spot positioning and bends into permanent shape for precision -awesome for a woman who wants to explore her G-spot and get off, clitorally, while at it. I had to take pictures to show the toy bent to the max both ways. Very cool! This is the type of feature that creates Oooohs and Ahhhs for guests at parties. The icing on my decision to add this vibrator to the Love Love line was the vibration in the shaft as well as the clitoral part. Dual-Motors! But I’ll be naming it simply the “Bounding Bunny.” A customer just asked me the other day for a toy that she can use by herself that is waterproof, not too loud and not too expensive. This is perfect for her.

One of my favorite music genres to listen to while creating a review or writing an article is decade old trance. Old Oakenfold albums or Tiesto remixed tracks. The voice of Jan Johnston. The progressive wavy beats that would slowly climax into something physically and mentally orgasmic. An ideal song would be at least 8 minutes long. Yeah, that’s my shit. How I WISH I had the opportunity to attend one of these parties at 21 years old. And this toy would’ve been a perfect first toy!

The Lighted Shimmers LED Bliss Teaser with Extreme Power (that’s the official full name) is a very cool looking, simple to use and affordable bullet toy. Like I said, perfect for the first timer. The controller itself is an oval diamond-cut surfaced “pod” that fits perfectly into the palm with the thumb sliding the wheel to adjust the vibration speed. The bullet wire, plugs into the other side of the wheel. I’ve shown a picture here that displays how comfortable it fits into the hand like a pod. You can also see the iridescent color.

The look of it is appealing and attractive. The manufacturer’s image does not do the color justice. Here below, you see a purple color controller, when it is actually an iridescent purple-to-green on the outside and purple-to-orange in the center, as seen in my own picture. I love it!

The bullet part is not your traditional egg shape. Instead, it is shaped just right for holding the bullet at the top with the vibes on the tip. I love this because the vibes don’t get swallowed into your fingers. They all go where you need them to. Speaking of vibes, I put fresh batteries in and this thing is actually STRONG. A problem I have with strong vibes sometimes is that the first speed is usually strong as well. This isn’t good for the person trying to hold off an orgasm! The Bliss Teaser, however, is pleasantly mild on the first speed.

The LED light puts the party in your pleasure. A pretty blue light does a great job of lighting up a decent radius around the action. Looking for a visual turn on in the bed? Try using this bullet to spotlight sex while you both watch the movement. Hot!

Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed receiving and reviewing this product. The packaging made me smile the instant I saw it – no typical busty woman in seductive pose. Just the product, bright and glowing in all it’s glory taking up almost the whole front cover of the box. When the Lighted Shimmers LED Bliss Teasers become available to order, I will surely add this to the Love Love line. And as I do more reviews, I’ll add some “stars” or grade ratings.
