How to Book your Love Love Pleasure Party

It’s easy! We have a simple online party request form for you to fill out. Before you do though, think about a few things.

Are you looking for a weekday evening? A Saturday afternoon? Saturday? Think about what day and time of the week is best for your friends. When do you believe you would have the most “show ups”? Having a few dates in mind ahead of time will ensure that you and your consultant will find a date that works best for both of you. If your party must be on a set date, be sure to enter that into the request form.

So you are going to book a party? YAY! You can go ahead and start making your guestlist. Think about who you would invite. They say that one third of your guestlist will actually come to the party, so don’t worry about a long list. Even if you have a small space. I’ve done many sex toy parties with guests sitting on the floor comfy with some pillows. If you need help thinking of people to invite, try the 50 Guests in 5 Minutes sheet (.doc file) to remind you of people you know.

Another thing to do before a consultant contacts you after you put in your pleasure party request. Write down any questions you have. The most frequent questions I get are “Is there a fee?”, “How does it work?” and “How long does it last?”. Whatever questions you have in mind, write down so you don’t forget them and you can ask her all at once. (Not that you can’t ask her later too – your consultant will be there to help coach you for a successful party)

So, once you’ve made contact with the consultant and you’ve met, she’ll send you a hostess packet full of info and ideas to help make your party successful. After the party is booked, she’ll work with you and remind you of things you can do.

Always remember, if you are going to cancel or reschedule, let her know ASAP so she can open the date up to another hostess. And NEVER allow anyone under 18, including infants and children, to be in the home at the time of the party. So, call up Grandma or Aunt Sue once you have the date to take the kids.

So, last month I was venting and complaining about all my reschedules and cancellations.

Well, now begins 2008 and it’s coming in with a bang! Had my first party of the year this weekend
and it was a success! There were about 12 women there. Sales came out to $750. 2 girls brought the catalog home to read with their husbands. And the hostess says that she’ll close the party tomorrow with about 4-5 outside orders! I have 3 party leads that I need to get dates for. So looks like the Hostess will be getting $150 in free products (If it hits $1000), plus the specials and exclusives if she wants. And an item at 70% off. And should the 3 parties hold, she will get $85 and a booking bonus item free, plus an item at 65% off! Yeah!! I have one party next weekend, then after that I have 2 parties every weekend for 4 weeks.

Watch me rave and rant about the sex toy party life! I do these parties for fun, I do them for money and I do them for more than the parties. See, being in the sex toy party business, parties are the life blood of what we do…but there is so much more to it than parties.

As a sex toy rep, we are taught by our upline and company to prioritize 3 key elements at a party:

1. Book Parties
2. Recruit Women into the Business
3. Sales

And we want to maximize these elements in this exact order. If you never book parties at your parties, how will you fill your calendar?? If you don’t recruit, how will you “live the dream” of unlimited income? If you don’t sell anything, well then why are you there, for the food? C’mon now!

So, this blog is from the viewpoint of a work at home mom who is intensely into her sex toy business. I mean, obsessed with watching numbers grow and visualizing $1000 parties. I’ll tell you about my parties, this business and more. I do lots of random talk too, so be prepared for that.

Yeah, this is going to be a blast. This is NOT going to be a “Book a Pleasure Party!!” or “Join My Team!!” (plus stuff a million keywords for search engine purposes) type blog. No way. I’m just going to tell it like it is and have fun with it. I do hope you check in often for new posts and give me some feedback and comments.
