Love Love Parties joins Cloud 9 Parties

It’s official! After being with adult toy party companies for 8 years, I’ve found what is going to be an amazing company! See, I’ve done it all! I started in 2004 with a mega company, Passion Parties. After a realization of non-growth, in 2006 I went on to mid-sized company, For Your Pleasure, where I built a large team and earned many awards. But, I just wasn’t comfortable – something wasn’t right. After three years there, in 2009 I made the decision to be a founding consultant with a start-up company, Love U Parties. Though the concept was innovative (eco-friendly toys without gender or lifestyle discrimination), the company closed in a little over a year never finding its place in the market. Then I did the “independent” thing and became my own company, my own sales force. Though the party money was excellent, the work was much harder. And I was missing something. A team!

In January 2012 I reconnected with an old web-friend, Crysti Sheldon. We talked about romance companies and the industry in general. With the closing of Brown Bag Party, Crysti’s team and so many consultants were left stranded without a company. We both recognized that there just wasn’t a “good” company out there. Until now. The industry needs something new and exciting – something different. She told me about her upcoming company, Cloud 9 Parties, and instantly, I was in 100%. Waiting was the hard part. And now we can promote it for all the world to see!

Cloud 9 Parties offers a beautiful image and concept – a 1950′s style, enhanced with classic pinup imagery – and it’s current. You won’t find much PINK, as pink is overplayed in romance. What you’ll see is crisp, clean and attractive. Our printed material is simply GORGEOUS. Our websites will be stunning. Our product line – different. Aside from carrying beautiful lines like Cake, Max4Men, Sliquid and Pink, we will carry a variety of sexy accessories such as nail foils, shoes, wigs, jewelry and lashes. I am a big fan of the lashes and can’t wait to show them! Where other companies are still jumping on the “spa parties” bandwagon and even dipping into skincare, Cloud 9 Parties consultants will be able to hold “Sexy Accessory Parties” or “Sexy Boutique Parties”. A great alternative to our traditional toy parties, this is new and hip. I know my hostesses and customers will love it. Again, can’t wait to wear my new lashes!

I’m taking names! Though still in pre-launch phase (today, May 1st) we are already accepting applications to get in now. As the website and back office are being developed and marketing materials go to print, we are looking at a launch date of July 9th, 2012. Getting in NOW allows you to join as a founding member and get a head start on building your organization. Getting in now will make you a better leader this summer. Divorce Parties – Suddenly Single!

So I’m starting my presentation at a sex toy party and I let the guests know about my parties. They’re free, they’re fun and you get free products. Yada, yada. Then I let everyone know what type of parties I do. Girls Night “In”, Ladies Brunch Parties, Bachelorette Parties and the occasional “Divorce Celebration” – STOP. Laughter. A few hands raise and some point at others. It’s a FABULOUS idea! Divorce Parties!

Our sex toy parties, with a focus on the divorcees, are a flipside to bachelorette parties. The papers are done, the divorce is final, she’s been through the hardship and now she feels releif. She’s a new woman and it’s time to celebrate!

What happens during a divorce party? There are a few things that are different. First off, we take a little focus off the couples toys and men’s toys. This is definitely NOT about him. Secondly, we put a little focus more on pampering oneself. Sweet scented bath and body products are shown and passed around. We talk about the importance of taking care of oneself. We show products that make you feel sexy! Pheromone dust powders, sensual body dew sprays and bathtime fun toys, just to name a few. Then we get into the main event – TOYS! Rabbits, beavers, dolphins, butterflies, you name it! Our dual-action vibrators are amazing stress-relievers and can help get a woman through the night, if you know what I mean. Dual-action vibrators are the kind that combine clitoral and penetrative stimulation. Single or not, a dual action vibrator is a must-have! Not into the shaft-like toys? How about a silver bullet? I hear reports over and over of women being able to orgasm in 2 minutes flat thanks to these little pleasure gadgets. So, yes – products get passed around and guests can order.

A big fun factor to a divorce party are the games! Our divorce party games are meant to bring the group together and bond with “girl talk”. Yes! Prizes are included too!

How to Book your Love Love Pleasure Party

It’s easy! We have a simple online party request form for you to fill out. Before you do though, think about a few things.

Are you looking for a weekday evening? A Saturday afternoon? Saturday? Think about what day and time of the week is best for your friends. When do you believe you would have the most “show ups”? Having a few dates in mind ahead of time will ensure that you and your consultant will find a date that works best for both of you. If your party must be on a set date, be sure to enter that into the request form.

So you are going to book a party? YAY! You can go ahead and start making your guestlist. Think about who you would invite. They say that one third of your guestlist will actually come to the party, so don’t worry about a long list. Even if you have a small space. I’ve done many sex toy parties with guests sitting on the floor comfy with some pillows. If you need help thinking of people to invite, try the 50 Guests in 5 Minutes sheet (.doc file) to remind you of people you know.

Another thing to do before a consultant contacts you after you put in your pleasure party request. Write down any questions you have. The most frequent questions I get are “Is there a fee?”, “How does it work?” and “How long does it last?”. Whatever questions you have in mind, write down so you don’t forget them and you can ask her all at once. (Not that you can’t ask her later too – your consultant will be there to help coach you for a successful party)

So, once you’ve made contact with the consultant and you’ve met, she’ll send you a hostess packet full of info and ideas to help make your party successful. After the party is booked, she’ll work with you and remind you of things you can do.

Always remember, if you are going to cancel or reschedule, let her know ASAP so she can open the date up to another hostess. And NEVER allow anyone under 18, including infants and children, to be in the home at the time of the party. So, call up Grandma or Aunt Sue once you have the date to take the kids.
